Mediation offers you...
- a place for you and your ex-partner to discuss, and resolve, in private and on a confidential basis, the financial and children issues arising out of your separation, with the assistance of an unbiased third party, supported by appropriate legal, financial and other specialist advice
- a space for you to say what you need to and be heard, in an environment where everyone's needs are considered,
- time and flexibility for you to begin to adjust to the changes you are experiencing in your family life, and
- an opportunity for your children to have their own voice in the process, if they, you and we agree.
Mediation is a voluntary process, where you - not anyone else - make the decisions about your and your children's futures, on an informed basis, supported by an experienced mediator.
Most clients will need between one and five meetings (typically of 2 hours each), depending on the issues you are looking to resolve, and their complexity.
